THE PROJECT IN BRIEF
Creation of a plugin to make the platform compliant with the adjustments required by IVASS regulations (Regulation n.6 of December 2, 2014).MARKET AREA
Project carried out for two important Italian insurance groups, involving a total of over 10,000 people including internal staff, collaborators and clients.
IVASS regulation no.6 introduced changes to the sales network training system previously adopted by insurance companies. In particular, they concern: training updates, course content and e-learning methods.

The initial scenario
E-time was commissioned by two important Italian insurance groups (with whom it has been collaborating for several years offering consultancy and support on the Docebo platform)
for the implementation of a solution that would allow a customization of the e-learning platform in compliance with the requirements of the IVASS Regulation.
The Plugin
The plugin allows each registered user to see, modify or create the progress of training during the year. This plugin provides several features, which we will list below.
Yearly IVASS table management
A dashboard to list and search users and related information on the annuality status, to insert, modify and delete user statuses.
The user statuses have been introduced in order to better comply with the IVASS regulation. Which provides for various obligations to be met, including:
- A professional update on a biennial basis
- Training for a total of 60 hours in two years and at least 15 hours in one year
- Discipline of the causes of suspension and conditions for recovery
Based on these prerequisites, the following user states have been implemented:
- First year
- Second year
- New employee
- Removed
- Deleted
- Suspended
- Resumed
Automatic progress management training
At the beginning of the new management year (January 1), the plugin processes the users’ training results achieved during the previous year. Following IVASS directives, it automatically enrolls each user in the current year with the relative status.
IVASS DASHBOARD
The dashboard highlights the summary information on the users who have the obligation of training with IVASS regulation.
User detail
Filterable by year and by user, the dashboard displays data relating to training hours completed in the current year and in the year preceding the selection. It also shows, in accordance with the regulations, the current status of the user and whether the hours currently used are sufficient to continue to the next status.
Suspensions and exemptions
Management of suspensions and waivers (illness, maternity, administrative, etc.), with start and end date of the waiver and relative certificate justifying the suspension. The dates will then be used to calculate the hours needed to resume training. From the dashboard it is possible to insert new exemptions with the relative certificates, view the history of suspensions, and access the user’s detailed management.
It is possible to limit the vision of the single users to certain profiles so as to allow agencies, chief agents and agents, only the management of the members of their competence.
MANAGEMENT OF THE USER’S STUDY PLAN
It is possible to access the detailed report of the single study plan of a user, filtering by the year of reference.
Here it is possible to visualize the finished and ongoing courses of the user, eventual external courses with relative status and past years.
APPROVAL OF EXTERNAL COURSES
The administrator has the possibility to manage the approval or not of external courses that individual users upload in the platform, evaluating the inclusion of these courses among the training credits “of other nature”.
